Falko Schlottig

Prof. Dr. Falko Schlottig is Director of the School of Life Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), Chair of the FHNW Standing Committee on Research, and Site Head for the FHNW of both Basel (BS/BL).

Falko Schlottig’s extensive knowledge of chemistry and analytical chemistry, combined with his industry experience in Life Sciences, reflects his commitment to advancing the Life Sciences through practical innovation. He has held senior roles in research, product development, and executive management at international life sciences companies, where he successfully bridged the gap between science and application. In addition, he has co-founded and worked with start-ups and serves on various national academic and industry boards.
