Matteo Lenge

Matteo Lenge, PhD, is a research engineer specialized in neuroimaging, biomedical technologies, and digital health. He earned a BSc in Electronics and Biomedical Engineering (2009) and an MSc in Electronics Engineering (2011) from the University of Florence, Italy. In 2015, he completed a joint PhD program in Electronic Digital Systems at the Microelectronics Systems Design Laboratory (University of Florence) and in Medical Imaging – Acoustics at the CREATIS Laboratory (University of Lyon, France), defending a thesis on novel ultrasound-based blood flow estimation techniques. Currently, he works at the Scientific Coordination Unit of Meyer Children’s Hospital IRCCS in Florence, where he locally coordinates the DHEAL-COM Project funded by the Ministry of Health. He also collaborates with the Neuroscience and Medical Genetics Department at Meyer IRCCS, where he works in the Quantitative Neuroimaging Research Unit, focusing on quantitative MRI in children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Eng. lenge has co-authored over 68 peer-reviewed articles and one book chapter, with an H-index of 20 (Scopus).
