Oliver Hijano Cubelos

Oliver is a Physics PhD specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, having defended his thesis in 2015 at the University Paris-Saclay. He then joined a biotechnology startup as a Research Engineer, where he built and optimized models to evaluate protein interactions in silico. In 2018, he moved to the Institut Curie as a Data Scientist, where his main mission was to develop statistical and machine learning tools to advance cancer research. He also led several AI projects integrating complex clinical data, text, and images. In 2021, Oliver joined Sanofi, where he drives the implementation of data analysis workflows and leads the development of advanced digital and ML/AI solutions to enhance screening activities and the selection process within the antibody discovery platform.
